The much awaited excitement IPL III starts today, its going to be another exciting season of cricket for Cricket lovers. I will be missing first few day of IPL III as I’m going on a 5day trip to GOA, which indeed is going to be another fun
Will be posting my travel experience after returning from GOA.
I’m starting in few hours

DLF IPL T20 2009 Finals will be between Deccan Chargers and Royal Challengers Bangalore

IPL T20 – Second Semi final – Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Chennai Super Kings – Full Scorecard

Royal Challengers won the second semi final against Chennai Super Kings by 6 wickets. Batting first Chennai Super Kings just managed 146 runs in their 20 overs. Royal Challengers won the match with 7 balls to spare.

IPL T20 – Gilchrist’s bliztering innings got Deccan Chargers into the finals

Deccan Chargers won the first Semi Final match against Delhi Daredevils by 6 wickets and they are through to the finals.

Gilchrist won the toss and elected to field first, as he always does.

Delhi Daredevils lost 2 wickets without any runs on the board. Gambhir and Warner got out for a duck each and the score was 0/2. Sehwag and Dilshan batted well to get Delhi to a reasonable score. At the end of 20 overs Daredevils managed to score 153 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.

Gilchrist played a bliztering innings to take Deccan Chargers to the finals of IPL T20 2009

Gilchrist and Gibbs opened the innings for Deccan Chargers. Nannes opened the bowling and he was hit for 5 fours in the first over by Gilchrist. Gibbs got out the next over for a duck. Gilchrist continued hitting all over the park and scored the fastest IPL half century in just 18 balls. He got out the last ball just before strategic break and he scored 85 runs in just 35 balls. Deccan Chargers reached 154 runs in the 18th over and won the match comfortably by 6 wickets.

Deccan Chargers will play with the winner of the Second Semi final to be held today.

Finally the league matches of this year IPL T20 has ended and the teams that will be playing in semi finals are known.
First Semi Final – Delhi Daredevils Vs Deccan Chargers
Second Semi Final – Chennai Super Kings Vs Royal Challengers Bangalore
In yesterday’s matches
Delhi Daredevil won the match against Mumbai Indians by 4 wickets.
Royal Challengers Bangalore won the match against Deccan Chargers by 12 Runs.

Kolkata Knight Riders Won the match against Rajasthan Royals.
Chennai Super Kings Won the match against Kings XI Punjab.
Both Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab are now out of the tournament.

Kolkata Knight Riders Won the match against Rajasthan Royals. Rajashtan Royals the defending champions are out of the tournament with this loss. Also, Chennai Super Kings are through to the semi finals. Kolkata Knight Riders are on a roll winning their second match in a row after losing 8 in a row. They won the low scoring match. Royals just manage to score 101/9 in their 20 overs with none of their batsman really settling in. Their innings include two horrible mix up ending up as run outs. Langavelt playing his first game took 3 wickets. Kolkata Knight Riders strated their innings badly losing lots of early wickets and were struggling at 55/6. Shukla and Agarkar played well and took them to the victory in the last over of the match. Yet another close match that went to the last over of the match. Shane Warne will be really disappointed with their performance today, they didn’t bat well and started well with bowling but couldn’t finish it at the end.
Chennai Super Kings Won the match against Kings XI Punjab and moved to second position. Kings XI Punjab is out of the tournament now. Its been day of low scoring games. Chennai Super Kings had a blistering start with opening partnership of 40 in just 4.5 overs. But lost wicket at regular intervals then on and just manage to score 116/9 in 20 overs. This is the lowest total by Chennai Super Kings in this IPL. Kings XI Punjab made a mess with the batting or an excellent bowling from Chennai Super Kings. Kings XI Punjab just got 92/8 and lost the match by 24 runs. They also lost the semi final spot, though theoretically there is chance for them but that unlikely to happen.
